Social Worker

Social workers at Health for All offer short-term counselling (1-12 sessions) that is covered by OHIP for patients who are referred by their physician or nurse practitioner for a variety of mental health concerns including: anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, stress, relationship problems, parenting challenges, trauma,  understanding/coping with medical diagnoses.

Our Social Workers help patients by offering: supportive counseling, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution-focused or strengths based therapy.  We support patients to identify their challenges and work with them to help achieve their goals. All information is kept confidential between you and the Health for All Family Health Team.
